School photo with my own girl

The fact that you well know and regularly see the group of children that you try to photograph professionally can make it a lot easier, but in my case it turned out to be a lot more challenging than I expected.

More fun, that's also true. Starting with my own toddler, who found it so unnatural that she had to share my attention with other children that she kept literally hanging on my legs the whole time. She was the only one, who did not notice the flash cable, and fell over it time to time, and who dropped my softbox. 

The other children helped me enthusiastically to set up the equipment, but then they thought they participated enough, and went to have a break with a cake and a drink - and returned in a complete camouflage of breadcrumbs and red juice. I was sweating like a horse by the end of the session, eventually I had to do without softbox, and none of the photo's I could make according to my plans. But eventually the pictures are great, natural and happy, nurses and parents were even satisfied.
